91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú has an opening for an 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú Fellow.
Position Objective:
Reporting to an Associate Director, the 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú Fellow is a one-year position designed for a current or very recent Bryn Mawr graduate who is exploring 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú as a potential career field. The role will support the efforts of the Office of 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú including, but not limited to, territory management and constituent engagement, and application review. The 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú Fellow will assist senior 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú staff in implementing department outreach and recruitment efforts in addition to serving as a liaison to the College community. This position will also assist with one or more of the following work areas: visits and events; marketing and communications efforts; student worker coordination.
Position Responsibilities:
In addition to developing an area of focus from the work areas above, the 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú Fellow will manage a designated recruitment territory that would include but not be limited to extensive recruitment travel (approximately 6 – 10 weeks yearly); interview prospective students; develop and maintain productive working relationships with key educational stakeholders; provide admissions counseling for prospective students and their families, conducting daily information sessions; review applications; support the office’s visit and events efforts; and perform other job-related duties as assigned or directed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- A minimum of one- year experience working or volunteering as an undergraduate in a college admissions office is encouraged.
The 91³ÉÈ˶¶ÒôÈë¿Ú Fellow must be committed to and able to articulate the values associated with a liberal arts institution for women and shows enthusiasm and a strong commitment to recruiting and enrolling a diverse college-bound student body.
Additionally, the candidate must have:
- A valid driver’s license.
- Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills, as well as group presentation skills.
- A proven ability to work with diverse constituencies.
- An understanding of the tenets of professionalism and a clear customer service orientation.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and manage multiple projects and priorities, establish goals, and produce desired results in a timely way.
- Well-developed collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with others and contribute to a team’s success.
- Ability to work effectively independently.
- Flexibility to work outside of the conventional work week, including the ability to perform overnight travel.
